Losing
weight is definitely not for the timid.
If you think you can casually start
a diet, think again. I would venture
to say that it is the greatest battle
of all. Do you know why some foods
taste so good? It’s because they are
not good for you.
Whenever
are you are eating something that
is so good, it means that it’s not
so good for your inside. As a child
growing up in an impoverished village,
we didn’t have any access to medical
care.
And
so, the herbs were our medicine. Here’s
what they always say in the village:
“a cup of tea that does not taste
very bitter is not good medicine."
There
you have it my friend. Dieting does
not require reading hundreds of books
nor do you have to join a weight loss
program. It’s a decision you make
to suffer in the present and rejoice
in the future. Now I don’t mean to
scare you with the word suffer. What
I really mean is that you have to
make some intentional sacrifices.
I
wish there were another way around
it. But if you want to lose weight
you have put your armor on and take
arms against food. Think about it
this way: You already know what you
can do right now to lose weight.
You
already know what the self-professed
diet gurus are saying; you can buy
what the weight loss programs are
selling at any health food store.
Best of all, you do not have to pay
the inflated prices they are charging.
More information is simply not going
to help you. Only action will.
But
how come you are not applying what
you know to lose weight? Great question!
The answer is you have been avoiding
the pain of not indulging yourself.
Now, I am going to be brutally honest
with you. It’s time to say good bye
to your excuses. Just lose the weight.
It does you no good to keep talking
about it and postponing it.
Here’s
the absolute best way to lose weight
without paying someone money or without
making other people rich. Reduce the
amount of food you eat. And stay away
from the wrong foods. I don’t really
need to mention what are the wrong
foods. You already know them.
And
please don’t kid me or yourself by
saying you don’t know. Just in case
you are not sure, avoid the three
white poisons: Sugar, flour, and salt.
You might say, “Andy what in the world
am I going to eat then?” Actually
you can find plenty of good and healthy
foods that are not loaded with those
poisons. Of course most foods have
some of sugar, flour and salt. Moderation
is everything.
Yes,
I know you sometime think you are
having a sugar fix. Tough. Besides,
what in the world is that any way?
Here’s how I can explain it to you:
Your fix is because your taste buds
and mind are program to want sugar.
There’s no if or but around that.
Alright,
just when you are thinking, “Great
I only have to reduce my food consumption!”
Well, I have news for you. You will
also have to exercise in some ways.
“Oh
no, I don’t have the time nor the
energy to exercise” Well again tough.
I never promised you an easy-to-swallow
pill to lose weight. In fact, if anyone
promises that to you, take your money
and run fast. I mean fast. There’s
no such thing.
Okay,
I know you are thinking I am shouting
or being too direct. I guess to me,
it is tough love. It's because I absolutely
know you can lose all the weight you
want any time you want. I have been
there. In fact, right now, I am staying
away from most type of foods.
And
trust me, I am feeling really great.
I wake with more energy and stamina.
In fact, it's been over a month since
I have been a good boy. Of course,
just like any normal human being,
I get hungry. But this is my battle
against food. I always win. I am a
man and food is food.
Another
reason why I am trying to be direct
is because I really care about you
and your well being. I can hear you
say, "you don't even know me
and you say you care about me."
Well, there's nothing I can do or
say to convince you that I care about
you.
But
in my heart of hearts, I feel really
bad for people who are losing the
battle against food. And they are
all stressed out as a result. They
suffer from a rare disease called
weight-regrets. I bet you are suffering
now, too. And you probably don't feel
good about yourself.
Alright,
maybe you reading this because you
care about a friend and you are trying
to find some information for him or
her. If that's the case then I say
kudos to you.
Waiting
a minute! Did I just say suffering?

suffering I mentioned at the begging
of this article when I urged you to
stay away from some type of foods.
The reality is that’s not suffering
at all. It’s about feeling great about
yourself. It’s about fitting in that
perfect size dress. It’s about will
power!

way is an illusion. Do NOT give someone
your money in exchange of losing weight.
Instead keep your money to buy some
brand spanking new clothes to show
off your great body.

care and do not let yourself or me
down. Do it because you can. Prove
to everyone that you are a person
of conviction and commitment. Make
them jealous.
